It’s that time of year when Friendsgivings start popping up on your calendar, and pants buttons start popping off if you’re not careful! I kid, I kid. But seriously, how fun are Friendsgivings — bonding with old friends, getting to know new ones, eating aaalll the food.
This year, I had the pleasure of attending a seriously gorgeous gathering organized by Ashley of Hither and Thither (above)! Ashley partnered with eco-friendly wine producer Bota Box, as well as with Urban Farmstead and Daily Flourish, who hosted the event at their jaw-droppingly beautiful backyard garden in East Sacramento.
Kyle and Morgan, the green thumbs behind Urban Farmstead, kicked off the night by leading us in a tour of their garden, which is jam-packed with lush greenery, and further back, with produce. As the sun set, we sat down to a lovely meal. I’ll leave the rest to Ashley on her blog post, who shares more about this special garden, plus tons of tips for hosting your own Friendsgiving.
