Pastel Story: Baby Blue and Pale Pink

With the first glimpses of spring showing on the trees and in the air, it’s easy to see everyone is tempted to dip their toe in spring fashion. A dress here, a flurry of pastels there, peeps are ready for the change in season! In keeping with my current obsession with halter camis, I bought this one in a baby blue fit for Baby Spice, and paired it with a baby pink midi skirt. A double-pastel look can be risky as it can easily bleed into sugary, over-the-top sweet territory, but breaking it up with a heavier shoe or boot and a big, sturdy handbag is a good way to make sure your look stays on track. I wore this look over the weekend for the Lady Bosses of Sac Brunch, where I met a lot of cool girls and caught up with some familiar faces. This city is full of creative energy; I’m so happy to be a part of it!

Shoots are always more fun with unexpected visitors!

How cute are his little cow spots?

Jaclyn aka Styl(e)volver did this braid for me. Wish I was as skilled with hair!

I’ve been really into white nail polish lately. It’s perfect for adding a little pop to spring outifts.

OMG! I still haven’t done my hair post. Gahh, coming soon.
