I know it’s not even technically summer yet, but when I saw this long sleeve maxi at Zara, I couldn’t help but think it would make a great transitional summer-to-fall piece. Its coverage and deep color make it so I could wear it with layers and boots come colder weather. Back to the present, though. I thought it would be perfect for our recent trip to San Francisco since the weather can be brisk there, even during late spring. And I was so glad I did! It was windy af toward the end of the day, so I was so glad to be covered up!
I love that Haley and my outfits complemented each other. She described her dress as “sienna” colored, and according to the Zara website, mine is “terracotta.” Both such pretty looking and sounding colors, right? I love wearing these desert-y, sunset-y shades in the summer.
We were driving up and down Twin Peaks, both looking at the view and for a photo spot. We found the latter in this gorgeous, bright white estate, complete with interesting, large-scale plants. We couldn’t get over how pretty it was! Taking in the architecture and landscaping is one of the best parts of visiting the city.
