Wedding season is upon us! Weddings can take you to some beautiful places. At the beginning of the summer, my sister and I were part of our oldest, childhood friend Eryn’s wedding in Bolinas, which is a private, rural area near Stinson Beach. Eryn had flown in from Paris, where she’s been living with her fiance for a couple years, to have a California wedding. They’re both stylish and down-to-earth at the same time, so the decor was tasteful and the festivities super fun.
Blake and I stayed with my sister and her husband at the cottage within the Sandpiper Inn. The decor had a casual, beachy vibe, and was SO close to the beach and the little town. Hope you enjoy the photo diary below!
The cottage we stayed in at the Sandpiper Inn.
I love those pillows!
We ate at Parkside Cafe quite a few times. If you visit Stinson, you should definitely have a meal there. It’s rustic, casual, and super fresh.
I love this photo I took of Kira, the youngest little bridesmaid!
Let the hair and makeup begin!
Hair train! Eryn has been a master french braider since childhood!
All the bridesmaids got to choose their own dress – some variation of a nude maxi. I love the beaded gown Chelsea went with.
Here’s my dress! I chose the Winslow dress from Reformation.
How pretty are these head wreathes we each got to wear?
Alexis, ever the goofball, strikes a pose.
I die. She looks so beautiful!
The happy couple.
As the guests arrived and found their seats atop a hill for the ceremony, the bride and bridesmaids headed to a cottage on the farm where the wedding took place. It was super cozy and pretty – perfect place to hang out before it all got started.
